Who We Are

Swift River Distillery is a family-owned distillery in the Mackay Region of Queensland. Our copper pot still, encased in a stainless heating jacket, ensures careful controlled heating of the spirits, without the risk of scorching as can occur in bare element stills. The addition of a Gin Basket into the Lyne Arm provides the option of delicate infusion of botanicals into the distillation process.

After extensive experimentation in distilling of whiskeys, rums and gins, we have created spirits of quality, that are a pleasure to experience. We have recently released a high quality double barreled rum that has been maturing for over 4 years. This has been followed with our first release of a high quality Single Malt Whisky. This Whisky has also been matured over multiple small re- coopered ex wine barrels.
